William L. "Bill" Willett

William L. "Bill" Willett, 75, of Westmont, passed away on July 3, 2025 in Johnstown PA. He was born January 9, 1950 in Johnstown, the son of William and Mildred (Lugar) Willett. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Sakal.

Survived by his loving wife, Connie (Speigle); his children: William (married to Lauren), Barbara, and Brian (married to Jennifer); his brother, Don Sakal (Kathy); and his grandchildren: Taylor, Benny, Brayden and Beau.

Bill was a 1967 graduate of WHHS. He began his career at Penelec out of high school and retired after 34 years. He enjoyed attending his children's sporting events. He was a Coach and Officer of GJYL. Bill was a sports supporter at WHHS, and an avid fan of Penn State Football, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penguins. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, and will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Friends received on Monday July 7, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd 15905.  Family and friends will meet for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am Tuesday, at Our Mother Of Sorrows Catholic Church, 415 Tioga Street, Very Rev. Mark S. Begly. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
